The Binghamton University Wells Fargo Advisors, LLC Student Athlete of the Week is junior men’s track and field standout Jesse Garn. He just completed a whirlwind three-week stretch that included competing at the Millrose Games, guiding Binghamton to a second place finish at the America East Indoor Championships and lastly by becoming the second runner in school history to break four minutes in the mile on Sunday, March 2 at the Boston Last Chance Meet.
A group of Binghamton student-athletes educated roughly 100 students at Binghamton’s West Middle School about anti-bullying techniques as part of the No Bystander program. The Binghamton student-athletes developed skits demonstrating forms of bullying, conducted a question and answer session as well as displaying an instructional power point presentation. This is the second year Binghamton student-athletes have educated an local school about anti-bullying.
