Senior baseball second baseman Daniel Nevares has been named the Wells Fargo Advisors, LLC Athlete of the Week for April 28-May 4. Nevares had an incredible offensive display in his four games this week, compiling three home runs and 12 RBI. In BU’s weekend series with UMass Lowell, Nevares helped Binghamton take two of three games by driving in 11 runs, including a career-high 6 RBIs in the rubber game on Sunday. He was named the America East Player of the Week and also received Louisville Slugger National Player of the Week and NCAA Top Performers accolades.
