VESTAL, N.Y. - Binghamton baseball has released its 2014 travel itinerary. The listing includes the hotels the team will be staying at during its 10 overnight trips as well as the name and location of the fields for all away games.
The Bearcats, reigning America East champions, open their spring season with a three-game set at Duke on February 14-16. The 52-game slate also includes multi-day road trips to Virginia (twice), Georgia, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and Connecticut.
Head coach Tim Sinicki, entering his 22nd year at the helm, returns 21 letterwinners and all nine starting position players from last spring. That squad went 30-25 and won nine of its final 13 games to capture the conference title and advance to the NCAA Regionals. It was the program’s second NCAA berth in the last five years.
