VESTAL, N.Y.—Binghamton head baseball coach Tim Sinicki announced his incoming recruiting class on Friday and the group of seven will begin their Bearcat tenures this coming season.

“I am very pleased and extremely excited with the make-up of this recruiting class,” Sinicki said. “We have a nice blend of incoming freshmen with a couple of experienced transfers. I think all seven of these young men have a chance to make an immediate impact in our program. Each one of them represents exactly what we are looking for in our players ... a quality person who is driven to be an outstanding student-athlete, win championships, and represent the University in an appropriate manner.”

Set to arrive next month for fall semester classes and baseball are:

Jake Cryts, RHP (Schuylkill Haven, Pa./Blue Mountain HS)

Tsuyoshi Horibata, RHP (Manila, Philippines/International School of Manila)

Mike Meleski, LHP (Endwell, N.Y./Broome Community College)

Scott Musin, C (Bradenton, Fla./St. John’s River College)

David Schanz, INF (Edison, N.J./Union Catholic HS)

Reed Gamache, INF (Exeter, R.I./Bishop Hendricken HS)

Mike Bunal, OF (Whitesboro, N.Y./Whitesboro HS)
