The Gold Race is the most competitive of the men’s and women’s events at the Lehigh/Paul Short Run, followed by the Brown and White Races. There was also an Open Race, in which there was no team scoring and independent runners can enter.

There were 396 finishers in the Women’s Gold Race. Bogdana Mimic of Villanova, a 2009 All-American, recorded a winning time of 20:10. Providence, which is currently ranked third in the nation by the USTFCCCA, took the team crown with just 101 points. The Bearcat women finished with 1,002 points.
Up next for both Binghamton squads is the Albany Invitational on Oct. 15.
