VESTAL, N.Y.—Less than five weeks before the season-opening series, 21st-year head coach Tim Sinicki shared some thoughts with College Baseball Daily founder and editor Brian Foley.

Sinicki, America East Coach of the Year four times in the last eight seasons, is the longest-tenured head coach at the University. Over the last nine years, his program owns the second-highest win percentage in the conference and the Bearcats have advanced to the postseason seven times in the last eight years.

He returns eight starting field position players, three starting pitchers and 23 letterwinners from a team that won 23 games and finished third in the America East.

Binghamton opens its 50-game 2013 season with a four-game set at James Madison on February 22-24.
