VESTAL, N.Y. – The Binghamton cross country program has finalized its 2014 schedule, which begins with a home dual meet against Albany on Sept. 5. The races against the Great Danes will start at 5 p.m.
Also on the slate are trips to the Iona Meet of Champions on Sept. 20 and to Lehigh, for the Paul Short Run on Oct. 4. In addition, the Bearcat men are scheduled to head to the Princeton Invitational on Oct. 18 while the women are at the Albany Invitational that same day.
The championship season starts with the America East meet, which will be hosted by Maine on Nov. 1. Van Cortlandt Park, meanwhile, is the home course for this year’s NCAA Northeast Regional Meet (Nov. 14) as well as the ECAC/IC4A Championships (Nov. 22). Also on Nov. 22 is the NCAA Championship Meet at Indiana State.
Binghamton was second on the men’s side at the 2013 America East Championships, which it hosted last Nov. 2. The women, meanwhile, were ninth overall. At the conclusion of the year, the Bearcat men were ranked No. 10 in the final USTFCCCA Northeast Region Poll.
