Cross country squads travel to NCAA Northeast Regional Meet
Men's 10K race starts at 11:45 a.m., women's 6K event starts at 1 p.m.

VESTAL, N.Y. – The Binghamton men’s and women’s cross country teams resume their seasons at the NCAA Northeast Regional Meet on Friday at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx. The men’s 10K race will start at 11:45 a.m. while the women’s 6K event is scheduled for 1 p.m. There are 39 teams entered in the men’s race while 40 squads will compete in the women’s event.
The Bearcat men’s team is currently ranked No. 14 in the USTFCCCA Northeast Region Poll. Two weeks ago, they were the runner up at the America East Meet with senior Vasili Papastrat and junior Collin Frost earning all-conference honors. Graduate student Jeff Martinez placed 13th in his first race of the season.
