VESTAL, N.Y.—Former swim standout Gina Bonante ‘99 will join six others as Binghamton University enshrine its 2012 Hall of Fame class at the 17th Annual Induction Ceremony at noon this Saturday in the Events Center. The luncheon and ceremony are part of Homecoming Weekend festivities, which also include Late Nite Madness to kick off the basketball seasons, home games for three of Binghamton’s fall sports programs and several alumni games.
Bonante was a three-time All-American in the butterfly. She began as a Division III student-athlete and as a senior, capped her career with a pair of NCAA Division II All-America honors. A two-time MVP and team captain, she won seven conference titles and graduating holding six school records.
