North Stonington, Conn.—After the completion of the America Sky Championship, the conference announced their all-conference selections, naming a pair of Binghamton golfers to their esteemed list.

Sophomore Bryce Edmister received one of the first five spots on the first-conference team. With a team-leading scoring average of 73.9, Edmister racked up a team-high three top-10 finishes, including a sixth place finish at the George Washington Invite back in the middle of March. The lefty sophomore fired seven rounds of under par and was out of the top-20 a mere two times this season after 10 tournaments played. Even more impressively, Binghamton used his score 27-of-28 times this season towards their team scorecard, a team-best 96.4% of the time.

Playing behind Edmister, junior David Cellura was honored with a second-team America Sky conference selection. Cellura tallied a pair of top-10 and top-20 finishes this season, accumulating a scoring average of 74.8. The junior registered his best finish at the Big 5 Invitational, finishing sixth out of 113 competitors back in October. A flair for putting up low numbers, Cellura tied the program-record twice this season with a pair of five-under par performances.

“Both Bryce and David have been extremely consistent this year in leading our team,” head coach Bernie Herceg said. “This honor by the America Sky is a recognition of all the hard work and dedication these two have put forth on the golf course. This is a very well deserved accomplishment by both players and we look forward to more success in the future from both of them.”
