Late Nite Madness, America’s Best Dance Crew and Status Quo Coming to Binghamton
BU Men's and Women's Basketball teams take the floor for first practice Oct. 15 from 9-10:30 p.m.

VESTAL, N.Y.—Binghamton University Athletics, Late Nite Binghamton and the BU Student Association have announced that Status Quo from MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew will be performing at Late Night Madness on October 15th. Status Quo was the runner-up in Season 1 of Randy Jackson’s (from American Idol fame) America’s Best Dance Crew. Status Quo competed against JabbaWockeeZ in the finals and are known for their extreme acrobatics and amazing stunts.
Status Quo has been performing at colleges and universities around the country as well as several events during Black History Month. Ernest ‘E-Knock’ Phillips and his brother have auditioned together for ABC’s Americas Got Talent making it to the top 48.
Late Nite Madness is a free event that is open to the public. Join the BU student body to help us welcome the 2010-2011 Men’s and Women’s basketball teams as we celebrate with an evening of great music, contests, games, prizes and more. Doors will open at 8:00pm for the 90-minute event and the first 2,000 fans in attendance will receive a free ‘Madness’ t-shirt.
The festivities will include a three-point and dunk contest Donuts, the freshman-15 contest, along with a series of other contests and raffles. There will be performances by each of the Bearcats spirit squads; the Cheer Team, Dance Team, the BU Kickline and the BU Pep Band and The Brian Wolff Band will perform prior to the start of the event.
