The Binghamton University Wells Fargo Advisors, LLC. Athlete of the Week is freshman men’s lacrosse player Dan Mazurek. The Ringwood, NJ native won a career-high 17-of-18 faceoffs and picked up a program single season record 14 ground balls in Binghamton’s 9-6 win over Vermont this past weekend. Mazurek also notched his first collegiate point with an assist against the Catamounts.
A group of Binghamton student-athletes educated roughly 100 students at Binghamton’s West Middle School about anti-bullying techniques as part of the No Bystander program. The Binghamton student-athletes developed skits demonstrating forms of bullying, conducted a question and answer session as well as displaying an instructional power point presentation. This is the second year Binghamton student-athletes have educated an local school about anti-bullying.
