Vestal, N.Y.—The Binghamton University men’s lacrosse team had their first official practices beginning this past Thursday. The Bearcats, who are led by second-year head coach Scott Nelson, are prepping for their season opener which is less than a month away—Feb. 23 at Siena.
On Friday, we caught up with the squad as they hit the Bearcats Sports Complex for their first action outside. Fighting temperatures below 10 degrees, Nelson and his new assistants Steve Settembrino and Matt Francis led the team through one drill to the next in a highly organized and competitive atmosphere.
