Men’s tennis defeats Cleveland State 5-2 at home

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - Binghamton men’s tennis (2-2) grabbed the doubles point and won four of the six singles matches to post a 5-2 win over visiting Cleveland State (1-4) Friday night from the Binghamton Tennis Center.

Sophomore Alexander Maisin looked sharp in posting two wins. Maisin paired with junior Aswin Nambi to win at No. 2 doubles and then was the first off the court in singles after a commanding 6-0, 6-2 win at the fourth spot. Sophomore Eliott Hureau also was a double winner, earning a 6-3 triumph at third doubles with classmate Sid Hazarika and then producing a straight-set win at No. 3 singles.

Binghamton travels to No. 58 Penn State for an 11 a.m. match on Sunday. Fans can watch live stats here
