PHILADELPHIA, Pa.—Binghamton men’s tennis (5-5) grabbed the doubles point and swept all six singles matches in straight sets to defeat host Temple 7-0 Saturday afternoon at the Legacy Youth Tennis and Education Center.

The Bearcats split two tight doubles matches at the second and third spots but a commanding 8-1 win at No. 1 allowed BU to seize the opening point of the match. It was all BU in the six singles matches, however. Freshman No. 3 Sid Hazarika improved to 8-2 this spring with a comfortable 6-1, 6-1 win. Sophomore No. 1 Robin Lesage notched his 12th win of the season and classmate Alex Maisin earned his 11th win.

Binghamton stays in Philadelphia to face Penn on Sunday.
