Men’s tennis topples host Duquesne 5-2

PITTSBURGH, Pa.—Binghamton men’s tennis (4-5) won four of six singles matches before adding the doubles point in a 5-2 win over host Duquesne Friday afternoon. Freshman Robin Lesage clinched the win with his 7-6, 4-6, 6-2 victory at No. 3 singles. Other singles winners included Ruben Devos (7-5, 6-0), Ruben Haggai (6-4, 7-6) and Ismael Dinia (7-6, 6-2).

Devos and Bastian Bornkessel were victories at No. 1 doubles (4-3, ret.) and senior Alexandre Haggai and Dinia clinched the doubles point with a 9-8 win at No. 3.

The Bearcats will stay in Pittsburgh to take on Robert Morris on Saturday.
