Pair Of Date Changes Made To Men’s Lacrosse Schedule
Sacred Heart game moved to Feb. 16 and home contest versus Air Force to Mar. 23

Vestal, N.Y.—Two games on this year’s 2014 spring Binghamton University men’s lacrosse schedule have been pushed a day from their original date. The Bearcats season opener against Sacred Heart will now take place on Sunday, Feb. 16 and the home matchup with Air Force is now a day later on Sunday, March 23.
The start to the regular season begins on the road at Sacred Heart on February 16 at noon. BU is 2-0 all-time versus the Pioneers, last playing the NEC school in 2008 (9-8 home victory). SHU finished last season with a record of 3-11.
Originally slated for Saturday, March 22, the non-conference tilt with Air Force is now scheduled for Sunday, March 23 at 3 p.m.. The matchup is the first between both programs and will take place at the Bearcats Sports Complex (one of eight home games for BU).
Binghamton will play 14 games this spring, including three against preseason top 20 teams according to Lacrosse Magazine (No. 2 Syracuse, No. 10 Albany and No. 18 Cornell). The Bearcats have four America East conference games down the stretch against UMBC (Apr. 6), Vermont (Apr. 12), Stony Brook (Apr. 19) and defending 2013 champions Albany (Apr. 26) to close out the regular season.
