LOWELL, Mass.—Abby Jamieson went 4-for-4 and drove in a pair of runs, leading UMass Lowell (8-23, 1-5 AE) to a 6-4 win over Binghamton (12-17, 3-3 AE) in an America East conference softball game on Monday afternoon at River View Field. The second game of the doubleheader was suspended due to darkness with the Bearcats leading 9-3 in the top of the fifth inning.
The two teams are scheduled to conclude their three-game series on Wednesday at 3 p.m. The suspended game would be continued at that time. It will be decided tomorrow morning, however, whether to play the series out later in the day.

The Bearcats answered on a RBI single by sophomore outfielder Sydney Harbaugh in the top of the fourth inning to go up 4-1.
UMass Lowell turned the game around with four runs in the bottom of the fifth inning. Jamieson scored the final run during that frame.
One inning later, Jamieson knocked in an insurance run on another RBI single.

Marielle Handley improved her record to 4-11 while senior pitcher Demi Laney fell to 10-8.
Harbaugh went 2-for-4 while freshman outfielder Bridget Hunt finished 2-for-3 and scored twice.
