Complete list of Binghamton's Winter/Spring Honor Roll
VESTAL, N.Y.—The America East Conference has released its Spring 2012 Academic Honor Roll and 12 Binghamton softball players have been named to the list. All of them recorded at least a 3.0 GPA for the Spring 2012 semester. In addition, nine of those players were named to the America East Commissioner’s Honor Roll for maintaining at least a 3.5 for the 2012 spring semester.
Rising senior Jessica Phillips, who last month was named to the America East All-Academic Team and was named a SUNY Chancellor’s Scholar-Athlete, was one of the nine softball student-athletes named to the America East Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
In addition, all four seniors who graduated this past semester (Chelsea Horne, Briana Andrews, Kristen Emerling and Meghan Tucker) all earned over a 3.5 this past semester.
Binghamton earned the top softball team GPA in the America East Conference in 2009-10 and 2010-11. In addition, the Bearcats had a conference-best four All-Academic selections this past season.
In April, rising juniors Jessica Bump, Mikala King and rising senior Rhoda Marsteller were inducted into the National College Athlete Honor Society.
