VESTAL, N.Y.—Former BU ace Scott Diamond brings a 2-0 mark and a 0.00 ERA into his third start of the season for Minnesota when the Twins face host Milwaukee to start Interleague Play Friday night. First pitch is set for 8:10 ET from Miller Park.
Diamond has pitched back-to-back seven-inning gems after getting a call-up from Triple-A Rochester. He hasn’t allowed an earned run in 14 consecutive innings - the longest streak of any Twins pitcher this season.
