PRINCETON, N.J.—Senior John Slaven and junior Camille Ginyard met the ECAC/IC4A qualifying standards in the pole vault, highlighting Binghamton’s performance at the Sam Howell Invitational. The two day meet, which was hosted by Princeton University, did not have team scoring.

Slaven met the IC4A standard with a second-place jump of 15-9 in the men’s event. Ginyard, meanwhile, hit the ECAC qualifying mark with a third-place jump of 11-9 ¾ in the women’s completion.

Also meeting the IC4A standard was Binghamton’s men’s 4x400 relay team of seniors Mike Jennings, Temi Bajulaiye, Zach Keefer and Casey Gilbert. The Bearcat quartet was sixth overall with a time of 3:19:49.

Binghamton heads to the West Point Open next Saturday.
