Vote for Gormley as America East Fans’ Choice Player of the Year

VESTAL, N.Y.—Binghamton women’s soccer fans can show their support for freshman defender Connie Gormley, who is a finalist for America East Fans’ Choice Player of the Year. The balloting ends Tuesday at noon. Gormley has anchored BU’s back line to seven shutouts and a 0.79 goals against average. In addition, her booming right foot has created numerous scoring chances off free kicks. In addition, she scored a goal on a 45-yard direct kick in BU’s shutout of Maine on September 25. She has been named the America East Rookie of the Week twice (Aug. 22, Sept. 26).
