Women’s Basketball to have four games carried by Time Warner, ESPN3
Bearcats to have program-best four games shown from the Events Center in 2012-13

VESTAL, N.Y. – The Binghamton women’s basketball team will make a program-best four television appearances during the 2012-13 season. Three of their games will be carried regionally by Time Warner Cable Sports while the other game will appear on ESPN3.
All four games will take place at the Events Center. Time Warner Cable Sports will air the Nov. 27 game against Canisius, the Jan. 26 contest against New Hampshire and the Feb. 13 battle against Stony Brook. The America East will produce the March 2 game against UMBC, which will appear on ESPN 3.
The America East released its expansive broadcast package with ESPN and its platforms, including games on ESPN3 and ESPNU and culminating with the men’s conference championship game, which will be shown live on ESPN2 on March 16. The America East is entering its second year of a five-year contract with ESPN and in addition to the regular season games, every men’s and women’s game during the first two rounds of the America East Championship tournament, hosted by Albany on March 8-10, will also be shown on ESPN3.
Games on ESPN2, ESPN3 and ESPNU are also accessible through WatchESPN, ESPN’s authenticated networks service.
Including the America East semifinal game against Albany, Binghamton made three television appearances during the 2011-12 campaign. The other time the Bearcats made three television appearances came during the 2009-10 season.
Binghamton tips off its 2012-13 season at St. Bonaventure on Nov. 10. Four days later, it will face Cornell in its home opener.
