Women’s Lacrosse To Hold Third Annual Bearcats Cup

Registration Form

VESTAL, N.Y. - The Binghamton women’s lacrosse program will hold its third annual Four-on-Four Bearcats Cup and Girl’s Lacrosse Clinic on Sunday, October 6. The instructional clinic and competition will be held from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. and is open to any high school aged applicants, grades 8-12. Head coach Stephanie Allen along with assistants Allison Daley and Brittany Brigandi will be joined by players from the women’s lacrosse team to conduct the day-long clinic.

The Bearcats Cup includes a skills clinic introducing advanced techniques and game tactics with on-going instruction while the participants play. The day-long camp provides an excellent opportunity for players to experience Binghamton University and its state-of-the-art facilities, learn from Division I student-athletes and coaches and have a fun-filled day of lacrosse.

Over the past two years, the Binghamton coaching staff has instructed more than 100 high school players from all over New York, including Long Island, Albany, Syracuse and Rochester. Participants are given hands-on instruction during the morning session before breaking off into teams in the afternoon for round-robin and tournament play.

The clinic runs from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. with members of the Binghamton women’s lacrosse team assisting the participants throughout the day. Current Bearcat players are available to give insight into the game of lacrosse, what it takes to play at the Division I level and the college experience in general.

To register, please fill out the registration form (which is linked above) and mail or fax back to the Binghamton athletics department or call (607) 777-5555. Forms should be faxed to (607) 777-7397. Players may send in registration forms as a team (at least six players, including a goalie) or individually, no coach is necessary. Those players who register individually will be placed on a “house” team. All participants must submit a completed application and medical form.  Cost for the camp is $55 per person and the registrations deadline is September 27. Space is limited.

Please contact Stephanie Allen with any questions at (607) 777-7398 or email
