The incoming class will look to continue the momentum that the 2012 team closed the season with. The Bearcats won their final two games - both on the road - to get back to the .500 level for the season (8-8-1). Binghamton’s string of postseason berths ended, however, after a tough stretch of one-goal defeats. McClellan is looking to return to form with a program that has advanced to the America East semifinals six times in the last nine years, including a pair of championship game appearances.

“We are returning some strong players with lots of experience as well as some young players who are ready to step up and be difference makers,” she said. “This incoming group needs to come in prepared to meet our team expectations and be ready to compete.

“Our team really wants to accomplish their goals this season and understands the follow through required. The effort and attitude to prepare is something that our incoming group and our returning group have made a commitment to and I believe this will be one of our strongest ever teams across the board.”
