Women’s Tennis Honors Seniors at 65th Annual Awards Banquet

Vestal, NY—The Binghamton University athletics department held it’s 65th Annual Awards Banquet Thursday evening, culminating the athletics season.

Seniors Marina Bykovskaya, Emma Leibowicz and Jillian Santos were honored at the Seniors Dinner, which proceeded the Awards Banquet.

Head coach Libby McGovern named senior Jillian Santos as the team’s MVP Friday evening at the awards banqet. Santos won 16 singles matches in 2011-12, on her way to earning a spot on the first-team America East all-conference list at the second singles position. The four-year letterwinner also picked up a team-high 18 doubles victories, earning a second-team selection as well. Santos ends her terrific four year career third place in both singles and doubles wins with 86 and 77 respectively.
