Women’s Tennis Loses 6-1 At Boston University

Boston, Mass.—Boston University (9-6) defeated Binghamton (4-8) 6-1 on Sunday afternoon from the BU Track and Tennis Center. Junior Katya Medianik picked up Binghamton’s lone point on Sunday, racking up her eighth win of the season with a 5-7.6-4,10-7 win at fifth singles.

The Terriers won seven matches in total against BU, including a pair of doubles victories at their top two spots. In singles play, the Bearcats were able to push just one match past the second set. Freshman Annie DiMuro fell just short of prolonging her match at the third spot, falling 6-1,7-5. DiMuro is tied with sophomore Agatha Ambrozy for dual wins this season with eight.

Binghamton has a pair of road dual matches next week as they take on St. Bonaventure on Friday and St. John’s on Sunday.
