Syracuse, N.Y.—Syracuse (3-5) swept the Bearcats 7-0 at the Drumlins Tennis Center late Friday afternoon. The Orange won all nine matches against Binghamton who falls to 2-4 on the season.
Up next for BU is Pittsburgh (3-2) who has won their last two matches heading into the weekend. The Panthers swept St. Bonaventure 7-0 and pushed past Bucknell 6-1 last weekend. Sophomore Amanda Wickman is a perfect 5-0 in both singles and doubles play this spring and boasts an impressive combined all-time record of 54-24 (.730) in all competition dating back to last year. This will be the first matchup between Binghamton and Pitt.
The Bearcats wrap up the weekend at Brown on Sunday morning. The Bears are 1-2 this season and currently ranked No. 68 in the nation by the ITA.
