Women’s Tennis Upended By Seton Hall 4-2

West Point, N.Y.—Binghamton (1-2) dropped their weekend finale dual match with Seton Hall 5-2 on Sunday from West Point. Sophomore Agatha Ambrozy won an exciting three-set match, improving to 3-0 in dual match play.

Seton Hall grabbed the first team point by winning at first and third doubles early Sunday morning. However, Sara Kohtz and Annie DiMuro won for the second consecutive day, picking up a 6-3 win.

Ambrozy finished out her weekend with an exclamation point, winning her third consecutive match by a score of 3-6, 6-4, 10-7. Fellow sophomore Alexis Tashiro also was victorious in three sets by a final tally of 6-2,6-7(0-7),11-9.

Binghamton has a few days off before they partake in the ECAC Championships on Feb. 7-9. Matches will be played at Ivy League school Columbia’s tennis facility.
