Binghamton baseball team achieves highest GPA in America East

VESTAL, N.Y--For the third straight year, Binghamton University baseball recorded the highest grade-point average among its peers in the 10-team America East Conference. Under head coach Tim Sinicki, the Bearcats produced an average GPA of 3.16 during 2003-04, winning conference honors for the third time in three years. The team has now achieved a 3.0 or higher GPA in seven consecutive semesters.

A total of 18 players held a spring GPA of 3.0 or higher, including four athletes who earned Commissioner's Honor Roll status for maintaining a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
