Rookie of the Week for weeks ending April 1 and April 8 ... started
36 games and appeared in 38 ... batted .282 with 15 RBI, 21 runs
and a .504 slugging percentage ... lead team and ranked fifth
in America East with six home runs ... drew 21 walks ... had
six stolen bases ... went 2-2 with four runs and three RBI on
April 7 vs. Albany ... had a six-game hitting streak from Mar.
11 to Mar. 31 ... also made four appearances as a pitcher ...
played for the Albany Athletics in the Albany Twilight League
over the summer. In High School: Four year varsity letter winner...two-time first team all-area selection.. 2006 Times Union Player of the Year... all-state third team in 2005... all-state second team in 2006...led team to a section championship... also played football in high school.
