split catching duties and can also take mound as one of team's
top relievers ... has shown great improvement in the last two
seasons.
As a Junior (2004): Made contributions on both
sides of plate as well as on pitching mound ... Played in 20
games on offensive side and appeared in another 10 as a pitcher
... led staff with 3.16 ERA ... went 2-2 with two saves in 25.2
innings ... produced 21 strikeouts and just six walks ... posted
wins over Hartford and UMBC ... saved games against St. Bonaventure
and FDU ... struck out six in 5.0 innings against Maine ... fanned
four in 2.0 innings at Hartford ... allowed just two earned runs
in first 17.1 innings or work ... had three multi-hit and multi-RBI
games with bat.
As a Sophomore (2003): Made 23 starts behind the plate
