VESTAL, N.Y. -- Binghamton baseball outfielder Henry Dunn will be in the starting lineup for the New England Collegiate Baseball League All-Star Game, held Saturday night at MacKenzie Stadium in Holyoke, Mass. Dunn hits leadoff and plays center field for the Vermont Mountaineers (18-12), who are in second place in the Western Division.
After 25 games, he leads the entire league in hits (37) and ranks third in stolen bases (12), fourth in doubles (10) and average (.366) and fifth in runs scored (21).
Dunn was the league's Player of the Week on June 14 after hitting .412 with eight runs and eight RBI during the week.
Dunn hit .347 for the Bearcats this past spring, helping BU (30-22) capture the program's first America East title and advance to the NCAA tournament.
