As a Junior (2004): Had solid season after transferring to Binghamton from junior college ... led team in stolen bases (11-for-15) and triples and ranked third in runs scored ... was hit by pitch 15 times, which ranked 17th in country ... batted .294 in league games ... had 10 multi-hit games including five in last eight games of season ... collected season-best four hits against Cornell (4-for-6) ... scored four runs against Stony Brook ... drove in two or more runs four times.
As a Sophomore (2003): Captain of Coffeyville CC (Kan.) team that played in Jayhawk League - considered to be one of the top junior college leagues in the country ... hit .329 with a team-leading 34 runs ... added eight doubles, two triples and was 31-for-33 in stolen bases.
In High School: Two-year letterwinner at shortstop for Union High ... led team to state playoffs as senior ... also played cornerback for football team that was state runner-up three years.
