Release: March 9, 2008 FARMVILLE,
Va. Visiting Binghamton (3-7) scored eight runs in the
first six innings and grabbed the final game of a three-game
set with Longwood (6-4), winning 8-3 Sunday at Lancer Stadium. Klee
delivered an RBI single in the first inning and a two-run home
run in the fifth - his second of the season. James stroked a
two-run single in the sixth inning. Junior designated hitter
Ken Jacobi (Milford, Conn.) had a two-run
single in the third inning and freshman center fielder Corey
Taylor (Vestal, N.Y.) had two hits, including an RBI single
in the third. |
