ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- Host New Mexico (13-2) erased a 3-2 deficit with three runs in the fourth inning and added seven runs over their final two frames to defeat Binghamton (1-6) 13-3 Saturday night at Isotopes Park.
The Bearcats scored twice in the second inning and once in the third to take a shortlived 3-2 lead. But UNM, which outhit BU 18-5, responded with more offensive firepower to complete the four-game sweep.
Binghamton next opens a three-game set at Maryland-Eastern Shore with a twinbill on Saturday.
