Release: March 11, 2008 Sinicki has been named America East Coach of the Year twice in the last three seasons (2005, 2007), and his 2007 Bearcats won the regular season conference title with a 17-5 record. In all, that team won a school-record 28 games and earned America East runnerup honors in the postseason. His teams have increased their win total in each of the last four seasons, and his 2008 squad was picked to finish second out of seven teams in the America East Preseason Coaches' Poll. His overall record is 300-327-6. In the last four years, Sinicki's teams are 103-96-2 (52%). During his tenure, 12 players have signed professional contracts. In
addition to the success on the field, Binghamton baseball has
earned distinction in the academic arena under Sinicki's charge.
His program has maintained the highest grade-point average of
any baseball team in the America East for six consecutive years. |
