ULM scored twice on three hits in the first and added single runs in the third and fourth innings to take control. The hosts tacked on two more runs in the eighth.

Taylor's leadoff blast in the fourth inning cleared the fence down the left field line for his team-best seventh home run of the season. He collected four home runs and 14 RBI in the seven-game road trip and now has 25 RBI in 20 games.

The Bearcats' No. 5-9 hitters went a combined 1-for-17 at the plate.
