Release: February 28, 2008 As a junior, Warner hit .548 to win the Patriot League batting crown. He was team MVP, first team all-league, second team all-Central New York and a second team All-State selection. Warner also had a .980 fielding percentage. Fabius-Pompey went 14-3 last spring, capturing the league and Section III championships. "I am thrilled that Lane has decided to become a member of our program," Sinicki said. "He is an outstanding athlete who is blue-collar, hard-nosed and a tremendous worker. His skills are being developed daily by one of the premier high school coaches (Shawn May) in the state. I truly believe Lane has a very bright future as a Bearcat." |
