lands four on All-New England Team
Fuchs, who leads the team and ranks fifth in New England in scoring average (74.5), was named to the first team for the second straight year. He captured two tournament titles in 2002-03 (ECAC Championship and Dartmouth Invitational) and placed among the top-10 at nine of 13 tournaments.
Kunz joined Fuchs on the first team, giving BU the most first-team selections (2) of any team. The former junior college national champion enjoyed a strong first-year at Binghamton after transferring from Monroe Community College. Kunz won three tournaments (Colgate and Bucknell Invitationals and America East Championship) and posted a 75.7 scoring average. He is coming off a stellar performance at the America East Champinship, where he shot 73-70 to capture medalist honors and lead the Bearcats to the conference title.
Hendrickson was ranked 13th in New England with a scoring average of 75.7, and placed among the top-10 in seven of 12 tournaments. Moulton, BU's talented freshman from Canada, maintained a 76.0 average and enjoyed six top-10 finishes. He sparked BU to a huge team victory at the Rhode Island Invitational by sharing medalist honors after carding rounds of 70-71.
Binghamton, which has won more tournaments than any Division I program in the country, will compete in the 54-hole NCAA East Regional Thursday through Saturday at Auburn University Club. The team will be paired with Liberty University and Jackson State for the opening two rounds.
