Liberty leads the tournament at 576, followed by Towson (579), Rutgers (581), George Mason (582) and Loyola (588) and Boston College (588) in the top-5. Binghamton (294-303=597) is one stroke ahead of District I rival Army (300-298=597), and just four strokes out of seventh place Delaware (593) heading into Sunday's final 18 holes.
Individually, senior Keith Hendrickson (Syosset, N.Y.) was BU's low man after carding rounds of 74-73=147. Hendrickson collected two birdies in his first round, and came back with four more in the second go-around to move into a tie for 22nd in the 99-man field. Classmate Joe Kunz (Webster, N.Y.) shot a pair of 74s, and sophomore Kevin Crawford (Lockport, N.Y.) was one stroke behind Kunz after shooting 72-77=149. Senior Eric Vinal (Syracuse, N.Y.) had the most birdies on the team, picking up five en route to a 74-79=153 finish. Freshman Jeff Wolniewicz (West Seneca, N.Y.) shot 78-80=158.
