Results CRISFIELD, Md. - Binghamton golf shot a final-round 303 to tie for ninth place out of 23 teams at the Drew Upton Memorial Towson Classic at the Great Hope Golf Course. The Bearcats were in second place after an opening-round 285 but fell back seven places to wind up at 588 for the 36-hole tournament. Richmond won the event at 576, followed by Western Kentucky (581), Liberty (582), William and Mary (583) and the host Tigers (584) to round out the top five. Binghamton tied with Princeton and finished ahead of district rivals Army and Yale, who placed 11th and 12th, respectively. Senior Kevin Crawford (Lockport, N.Y.) and junior Aaron Ungvarsky (Wilmington, Mass.) tied for 19th place among 115 golers at 145. Crawford went 70-75 and Ungvarsky shot 71-74. Binghamton next competes at the Yale Spring Invitational on April 8-9. |
