Half-hour show featuring Broadus, Conover, will air live from 7-7:30 p.m.

VESTAL, N.Y. -- Fans of Binghamton University basketball will get an in-depth look into the men's and women's programs as the Horizons Bearcats Hoop Talk show returns for a second season. The half-hour show will be broadcast live on News Radio 1290 WNBF on Monday nights beginning October 29. Fans can also listen to the show live on the web at www.bubearcats.com.

The initial event will be held at the Events Center, with subsequent shows set at South Side Yanni's Restaurant. The first show on Monday, October 29 will be preceded by a men's basketball practice that will be open to the public. The practice will run from 6-6:30 p.m.

Roger Neel, the longtime voice of BU men's basketball, and second-year women's announcer Robert Ford, will co-host the show for the Citadel Broadcasting Corporation.

The format features first-year men's coach Kevin Broadus and fifth-year women's coach Rich Conover, along with other guests. The coaches will provide analysis of past games, preview upcoming contests and discuss their strategies and player development.

There are 14 scheduled shows spanning the length of the season, from October through February.

In addition to the Coaches' Show, Citadel will broadcast all of Binghamton's men's and women's basketball games for the seventh straight year on WNBF and WYOS Talk 1360. The first men's broadcast will be the season-opener on November 12 at St. Bonaventure. Before that, both women's home exhibition games will be carried on November 1 and 6.
