“Late Nite Madness” to feature men’s and women’s basketball squads on Friday

VESTAL, N.Y.-- Late Nite Madness will be held at the Events Center on Friday, October 16th at 10 pm following the men’s soccer game. The 2009-10 Binghamton University men’s and women’s basketball teams will be introduced and admission is free to this event, which is open to the public.

Make sure to get there early to get your free t-shirt (while supplies last). Doors open at 9:30 p.m. During this 90-minute event, the basketball teams will take part in a Shooting Stars competition, followed by members of the men’s team competing in a slam dunk contest. The dunk contest is sponsored by Dunkin’ Donuts and pressconnects.com.

Festivities will include performances by the Bearcats dance team, cheer team and kickline as well as the University Pep Band. In addition, a trampoline dunk team, the “Extreme Team”, will entertain the crowd.
