Basketball Post-Game Quote Sheet
Binghamton 60, Maine 46
January 7, 2004
Coach Al Walker...
On the game:
"We did a better job on the defensive glass [BU held 46-24 rebound advantage]. We had a nice flurry of offense and then got slowed down a little bit, but it was a great win for us because we had been struggling a little bit."
On holding Maine to 21 points in the second half:
"We did a great job shot challenging on the perimeter. Once again, Brandon Carter was asked to defend one of the top players in the league (Kevin Reed) and he did a great job. Alex Adediran also did a great job. He was very big and got a lot of rebounds. Joe White also had a great first half offensively. Billy Williams played a very good game tonight."
On Joel Casseus and Billy Williams making three-pointers in the second half:
"We missed eight three-pointers in the first half and then two more at the beginning of the second half, and we just told the guys that we couldn't keep shooting it that bad. We knew we'd make another one pretty soon."
