On Proctor: Gifted second-year player whose junior season
was hampered by a wrist injury Junior Season (2005-06): Played in 15 games ... averaged 4.8 points and 1.8 rebounds in 14.9 minutes of play ... missed first 14 games of the season due to broken bone in his wrist ... scored in double figures back-to-back games against Boston University (career-high 12 points) and Hartford (11 points) ... hit two three-pointers on three separate occasions ... grabbed a career-high six rebounds against Hartford on Feb. 18 ... went 4-for-4 from the free throw line against UMBC on Feb. 20. In College: Led Pensacola JC in scoring last winter... averaged 14.9 points, 4.7 rebounds and 2.2 assists, and was named team MVP... honored as a first team all-conference player... second leading scorer in the Florida Junior College All-Star Game... in conference play, bumped up offensive numbers to 15.7 points and 5.1 rebounds... shot 46% from the floor, including 36% from three-point range, and 73% from the free throw line. In High School: First team all-conference and second team All-Met selection for Paul VI High School in Fairfax, Va.... was named one of the top five players in the state of Virginia by the Northern Virginia Journal. |
