Pumpkin Stickout to highlight fall competition
The Binghamton University men's lacrosse team will be playing in a pair of fall ball tournaments head coach Ed Stephenson announced today. The Bearcats will be headed to the Great Pumpkin Stickout at Syracuse University on Saturday, October 4. The annual tournament will feature Brigham Young, Rochester Institute of Technology, Le Moyne, Rensselaer and Nazareth, in addition to NJCAA national champions Herkimer County Community College. Binghamton is tentatively scheduled to take on Le Moyne and either RIT or Rensselaer.
Also on the schedule for the fall season is the Bearcat Fall Tournament, which will be held during Alumni Weekend on Sunday, October 12. Joining the Bearcats for the tournament will be Mt. St. Mary's and Wagner.
"We are excited to be playing in the Great Pumpkin Stickout for the first time," head coach Ed Stephenson said. "We are looking forward to joining with the other teams at what is a great upstate tournament. Our home event will be the third straight year in which we host a fall event."
