Members of Binghamton Men's Lacrosse chip in for Thanksgiving
A total of $600 was donated to Lourdes Hospital Thanksgiving Fund
VESTAL, N.Y.--Several members of the Binghamton men's lacrosse program have reached out to help others this Thanksgiving Holiday. Numerous players and coaches donated a combined total of $600 to Lourdes Hospital's Thanksgiving Fund, which is used to prepare meals for patients and families during the holiday.
This past week at the Bearcats Sports Complex, team captain Larry Kline and the rest of the contributing members handed a check to Lourdes Hospital Representative Chris Bernard (who played for Binghamton from 2004-07).
I am proud of the generosity and thoughtfulness demonstrated by our team members and coaching staff," head coach Ed Stephenson said. "I think we have a special place in our hearts for the Thanksgiving holiday and its many traditions, and this special program by Lourdes Hospital gives us the opportunity to share those traditions with others in our community.
