Up Route 88
America
East Conference action begins for Binghamton on Wednesday afternoon
with a 3 p.m. game at Albany. The contest will feature the top-ranked
defense in the America East (Binghamton) against the No. 1 offense
(Albany).
Head Coach Paul Marco
"I really like Albany. Their coaching staff has done
a great job this year of getting the right players in the right
positions. He has brought in a few new faces and those players
have really gelled with the rest of the team. They are banging
in goals and have an excellent goalkeeper so I think it will
be a very difficult match for us on Wednesday."
"We have really been able to focus this last week and get
healthy again. Guys are looking a little fresher than they did
coming back from Maryland. I think Wednesday will be a very game
between two very good teams."
Senior back Barry Neville
"Albany had a great result against Boston this weekend
and from the look of it, they have had a great start to the season.
We have been training all week for this match so hopefully everything
comes together on Wednesday."
Senior midfielder Cody Germain
"Being from that area, it's good to see people I know
when we go up to Albany. It's always good to play there."
"I think we are getting better with every game. We were
good at the start of the season, but we have been getting better
since then."
