Women's Soccer Preseason Media Day Quotes
The women's soccer team returns eight starters and 15 letterwinners from last season's squad that advanced to the America East semifinals for the third time in the past five years. Binghamton last won the America East title in 2004. The Bearcats open up the 2009 season at Delaware on Friday, August 28. The Bearcats' home opener is against Syracuse on Sunday, Sept. 1 at 1 p.m.

"We are really excited for the season to get going. The players have reported and we have had a couple of days of preseason. It's always a fun time to see our new players interact with our returning players. We have a good core returning and the news players have really shown up well. They are ready to compete and it's looking to be a good year. I think everyone is really optimistic about what we can do this year."
